Food and Agribusiness Book

“Food for Thought” is the first of its kind that takes a broad look at global agribusiness and reveals the extent of the sector’s reach and significance. It contains comprehensive statistics on the key countries in food production and agriculture which details the products, players and movers in the agribusiness chain from inputs to final products as well as exports and imports. It reveals why and how the ten-nation ASEAN that includes Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam is considered as a global food basket. Further, it has a special chapter on the Philippines and tackles head-on the question of whether there is a mistaken focus on self-sufficiency in rice as the answer to the Filipinos’ chronic struggle with poverty. It is intended for a wide range of readers – from analysts to students, from business executives to political leaders, and from professors to practitioners.

The book is priced at P950/copy for hardbound and P750/copy for paperback exclusive of shipping cost. Discounts are given for orders of at least 5 copies.

Order your copy now! Just fill up the attached order form and fax to (632) 633-8349, or email cfauap@yahoo.com. For inquiries, please contact Joy, Chris or Dani at tel. (632) 637-0912 to 26 local 247.
